It’s been a year of astonishing progress—including helping to prompt the European Union to take the first step toward ending animal tests, exposing abuse on “humane” farms, persuading a slew of fashion brands to ditch animal-derived materials, and delivering doghouses to lonely “backyard dogs.” The momentum is on our side.
In the months ahead, we must keep our campaigns going strong to help all animals: the terrified monkey trapped in a barren cage and subjected to painful experiments … the heartbroken mother cow whose babies are torn from her side … and the lonely dog spending night after freezing night at the end of a heavy chain in a muddy backyard.
PETA’s landmark exposés and investigations, attention-grabbing demonstrations, groundbreaking legal work, and responses to cruelty cases are changing the world for animals.
