PETA’s “dinosaurs” then started appearing wherever President Joe Biden traveled, calling for him to appoint a forward-thinking NIH leader who’ll take us out of the scientific Stone Age by embracing modern, animal-free methods like those outlined in our landmark Research Modernization Deal. The president’s interim pick to head NIH—Dr. Lawrence Tabak—is an indication that the agency may soon be turning away from discredited, deadly animal tests. Your support today can help PETA make that happen. Today only, your $5 gift will have the impact of $25 to help animals exploited for their skin.
We’ll save more animals’ skin. This year alone, we persuaded Canada Goose to announce a ban on fur, pushed more companies to swear off alpaca fleece, and encouraged luxury fashion houses to shed reptiles’ skin.
