Great news: A generous donor has agreed to expand our matching-gift opportunity to make the new year an even kinder one for animals. From now until midnight on December 31 (that’s less than 48 hours away!), every dollar you give will have the power of $5, up to our $250,000 goal.
A PETA investigator recently found more than 360 dead puppies among their littermates and mothers at a horrific facility that breeds beagles for use in experiments.
As you read this, monkeys, dogs, cats, rabbits, mice, rats, and other animals are being tormented in laboratories. The minutes and days that pass can be filled with severe distress and loneliness in solitary confinement … or in excruciating pain on the same level as torture. Not a single second that goes by is spent in peace.
With your help, PETA will be able to hit the ground running in the new year. We’ll push to end the torment of monkeys in brain-damaging experiments and other tests that amount to psychological warfare … to stop the warehousing and neglect of dogs so that they can be condemned to laboratories … to revolutionize research globally for the benefit of all beings … and to offer many more individuals a chance at a better life.

We’ve set a deadline of December 31 to raise $250,000. Gifts made after that date or after our goal has been met will not be matched, but they’ll still make a tremendous difference to PETA’s work to help all animals.
