Dear Aaaaaaa, PETA's first-of-its-kind exposé of cashmere operations in China and Mongolia is shaking the fashion world to its core—leading H&M and ASOS to ban the only type of cashmere that they sell and driving thousands of caring consumers to swear off the cruelly obtained material. As a committed PETA supporter, you know that our exposés have a huge impact. Together, we've decimated the global demand for fur, angora, and mohair. Today, we're doing all that we can to protect goats from abuse in the cashmere industry, stop the suffering that sheep face for wool, and prevent all animals from becoming victims of the grisly global skins trade. That's why I hope you'll join PETA President Ingrid Newkirk, Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman, PETA Foundation Supervising Veterinarian Dr. Heather Rally, and Senior Director of Corporate Affairs Anne Brainard on Thursday, June 27, at 8 p.m. EDT/5 p.m. PDT for a special town hall meeting on our campaigns against the vile skins trade. You'll get the inside scoop on our cashmere exposé, our latest wins for animals, and more. We encourage you to join us online. To participate in the webinar, simply log on to PETA.org/JuneTownHall at 8 p.m. EDT/5 p.m. PDT on June 27 and you'll be able to watch the presentation through your web browser and submit your questions online. We'll send a reminder e-mail to you at this address a few minutes before the meeting begins. I hope you'll join us for this exciting town hall meeting! Kind regards, | |||||||
