Featured  Notorious experimenter Joe Kornegay has tapped Peter P. Nghiem—a Texas A&M University animal tormentor—to take over his near 40-year program, in which hundreds of dogs have been intentionally hurt and killed in useless muscular dystrophy experiments.  After years of action from PETA and our supporters, Pittsburgh's Syria Shriners won't force animals to perform in a circus or cart people around on their backs. Urge Shriners International to do the same and oppose animal circuses.  Together, we've decimated the angora industry, but rabbits are still being tormented and killed for their fur. Will you help them?  Over the past few months, Facebook has been increasingly censoring PETA's content featuring violence against animals on its Facebook and Instagram platforms. Our objective is to stop animal suffering, and social media plays a key role in our efforts to reach people with important information about animals that they might not otherwise see. Please urge Facebook to stop hindering PETA's outreach.  PETA is giving the much-maligned pigeon a PR makeover. Let's change the narrative by renaming them "sky puppies."  Horses—like those pictured above—endure grueling conditions on the Havasupai trail. Another eyewitness reported seeing a horse collapse on the Havasupai Trail, but the animal was forced to continue the grueling trek anyway.  Eyewitness video footage shows elephants who were forced to participate in the cruel Chitwan Elephant Festival being repeatedly struck and gouged with bullhooks. The frightened elephants were also beaten with sticks and makeshift wooden knives, and their ears were violently yanked.  Even being tossed outdoors and suffering from a painful embedded collar couldn't dull Crystal's shine.  Going vegetarian or buying eggs labeled "free-range" isn't enough—not even close.
