Featured  More marmosets may be bred in U.S. laboratories for experiments such as implanting genetically manipulated embryos into female marmosets in order to produce babies who are born with disease-like symptoms or impairments. No animal wants to live behind the bars of a barren metal cage or any other unnatural environment while their bodies are used in pointless, painful, and invasive experiments.  In a landmark victory for dogs, Florida voters supported a greyhound-racing ban, which will end live races and simulcast betting on dog races at the state's 11 tracks. Now, PETA is working to shut down canine blood banks that hold dogs captive. Many greyhounds are sent there after they're deemed no longer useful to the racing industry. Join us in taking action today.  PETA needs to build hundreds of doghouses for lonely dogs left outdoors in the freezing rain, ice, and snow. SeaQuest aquariums are like mini SeaWorld parks—plagued by animal-welfare issues, hit with neglect allegations, infamous for allowing dangerous public interactions with animals, and notorious for exploiting animals for entertainment. But despite the company's reputation, it plans to open more cruel exhibits across the country, and some malls are allowing, or considering allowing, this cruelty at their properties. Let the property managers know that you're disappointed that they're involved with SeaQuest and that you don't want to see animals being held captive inside aquariums at malls in the future.  The fur-free revolution is happening worldwide, and PETA has put together the complete list of places that are helping to make fur a part of the history books. Share the list and then take action to urge seven more companies to stop selling fur.  Big-box pet store chains like PetSmart and Petco have a long laundry list of incidents involving animals who have been traumatized, allowed to escape, severely injured, and even killed in their grooming salons. Share this important information with friends and family and then let PetSmart officials know that you'll shop instead at businesses that don't sell animals—such as Target, Walgreens, or online retailers.  Hunting tears families of deer apart, leaving orphaned young to starve. And reports of wounded deer wandering through neighborhoods with arrows protruding from their bodies or careening wildly onto busy roadways aren't uncommon. Urge officials to halt this deer hunt in Shelby County, Tennessee, immediately.
