Leather Isn't a 'Byproduct'—the Industry Kills Cows, Cats, Dogs, and Others

Action Alert

Dear Aaaaaaa,

Leather isn't a "byproduct" or "leftover" of the meat industry. It's an industry in itself, worth over $100 billion a year, which keeps slaughter companies turning a profit.

Cows, pigs, goats, sheep, and even dogs and cats are in danger of being killed for leather—and because the country of origin of leather products isn't normally on the label , it's very difficult to figure out where (or whom) it came from.

Animal-derived leather has a negative environmental impact approximately three times greater than that of most vegan leathers.

For every leather item purchased, an animal was sentenced to a lifetime of suffering and a violent death.

Help Stop This!

Thank you for your compassion for animals.

Sincerely,
