Dear Aaaaaaa,

Animal Rahat has helped more than 150,000 animals since being founded in 2003. The Indian organization has come to the rescue of horses straining to pull heavy carts, calves struggling to survive rising floodwaters, dogs trapped deep in abandoned wells, and many, many other animals in desperate need. The group offers lifelong sanctuary for more than 240 rescued and retired animals and has a dedicated team on call 24/7 to respond to almost any emergency.

Its innovative work is saving lives and teaching both the owners of working animals and entire communities the importance of kindness to all animals.

Now's your chance to discover more about the ways this wonderful organization, which is supported by PETA, is changing lives—at a special town hall meeting on Wednesday, February 27, at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST.

PETA President—and Animal Rahat founder—Ingrid Newkirk will be joined by PETA Foundation Director of Captive Animal Law Enforcement Brittany Peet for an inspiring and informative conversation on all of Animal Rahat's vital work. In addition to wonderful stories and images from their recent trip to India, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at Animal Rahat's rescue work and new details on ways it's helping entire industries become more compassionate.

To participate in our town hall meeting online, simply log on to PETA.org/FebruaryTownHall at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST on February 27, and you'll be able to watch the presentation right through your web browser. We'll send you a reminder e-mail shortly before the meeting begins.

I know you'll leave this special town hall meeting with a new appreciation for Animal Rahat's growing work for animals in India.

I hope you'll join us on the 27th!

Kind regards,

Colleen O'Brien
Vice President of Communications
PETA
