We are pleased to invite you to an information sharing session with the Durable Solutions team on 27 February at 3PM at the HRRP office in Jwagal. Durable Solutions is a DFID-funded project that facilitates implementation of the NRA programme for relocation of populations at risk of, or displaced by, geo-hazards. The project has been working across all EQ-affected districts and is now entering its second year of implementation.
This information sharing session will provide the latest updates on the NRA-driven resettlement process of EQ-affected communities identified as at risk of impending geo-hazards, particularly landslides. This will include discussion on the latest relocation trends and challenges, Integrated Settlements, the Consortium's work with the landless populations, and some of the recent NRA policy decisions pertaining to relocation. Durable Solutions team will also present the project's new website durablesolutionsnepal.org, including its public dashboard with real-time updates on the relocation data, and the website's potential use for development partners.
There will also be plenty of time for discussion and Q&A.
