Dogs are being tortured—please don't ignore

These dogs are in agony—help them now.

Aaaaaaa—

There is a desolate, terrifying place where sickly, frightened dogs are cowering in barren metal cages … where dogs suffer from swollen tongues and weakened jaw muscles that make it difficult for them to swallow even the thinnest gruel … where dogs are born with a painful canine form of muscular dystrophy (MD) that will leave them unable to walk, eat, or sometimes even breathe.

This nightmare has been playing out in laboratories for 37 years and at Texas A&M University (TAMU) since 2012.

Decades of torturing dogs in hideous experiments have not led to a single cure or even a treatment to reverse the devastating symptoms of MD in humans.

As a symbol of your support for our work, we'll also send you a free sticker that you can use to show the world that you stand against animal testing.

Double your impact for dogs and other animals by taking part in PETA's Animals Out (of the Labs) Matching-Gift Challenge today.

After PETA exposed the suffering of dogs at TAMU, compassionate people flooded the school with e-mails and phone calls demanding change. The outcry has grown so loud that the university has even set specific PETA-related comment limitations on its Facebook page in an attempt to restrict discussions about these deadly experiments.

We need to put every extra dollar possible into ending the torment of dogs at TAMU—and into promoting modern, non-animal research methods that will prevent dogs and other animals from being abused and killed in laboratories. Your contribution today will be matched, bolstering this vital work and keeping the pressure on TAMU and other institutions to end painful, deadly experiments.

If we meet our challenge goal, PETA will have a whopping $1 million to put toward our work to end TAMU's cruel dog tests and to help all animals who are suffering at the hands of experimenters. We know we can reach our goal—but we need your help to do it.

Thank you for your compassion and for everything that you do for animals.
