Hi there,
If you're anything like me, you likely consider LinkedIn a fantastic tool for connecting with others in your industry, and applying for jobs.
When I was searching for roles post-grad, LinkedIn was the always the first place I looked. I sent out applications through their "Quick Apply" function, and messaged alumni and other people in my network to set up informational interviews.
As a marketer, however, I don't think I understood the complete value of LinkedIn as a lead generation tool until recently.
When asked which platforms I would consider using to collect and nurture leads, a few instantly come to mind -- Facebook, Google, and YouTube, to name a few.
But what if I told you LinkedIn is actually responsible for 80% of all B2B leads?

Now, you might be wondering -- Okay, but how do you generate leads on LinkedIn?
There are a few steps you can implement to generate leads on LinkedIn, including:
Make sure your executives have a strong LinkedIn presence.
Create a powerful LinkedIn Page for your business.
Use paid products to ensure your content reaches your intended audience.
Ensure you have strong sales and marketing alignment.
Additionally, LinkedIn's VP of Marketing suggests you create a powerful LinkedIn Page for your business. As he told HubSpot in an exclusive interview, "Once you've built that strong LinkedIn Page, companies tend to realize that that audience that's consuming information is incredibly valuable, and it's different than what they're finding on other platforms."
