Do you know any women who worked at a shipyard or in the maritime industry during World War II? We at MARAD would love to know more!

As a part of our acknowledgement of Women's History Month and the impact of women in the maritime industry as a whole, we're asking for your help. If you know of a woman who contributed to the maritime industry and/or worked at one of our nation's shipyards during WWII, please send along their photos (current and, hopefully, one from while they were working) to us with a short narrative of their work. The email address for submission is below. We look forward to hearing all about the great work that these women have done!
