Foxes killed, rabbits tormented—it needs to stop

Aaaaaaa, one of the most effective ways to keep animals from being abused for fashion is reducing the demand for products made from their skin, fur, and feathers. Through dedicated campaigns and riveting exposés, PETA is working to end the suffering of all animals exploited for their skins.

  • We're rallying kind people to help PETA persuade more brands to stop selling items made from animals' skins and fur. Already this year, companies including Furla and designers including John Galliano and Donatella Versace have dropped fur, following years of campaigning by PETA and our supporters. This progress means countless minks, foxes, and other animals will be spared a miserable life and a terrifying death. Right now, your gift to support our work will DOUBLE in impact, up to $250,000.
  • We're exposing the extreme abuse that is a routine part of the global trade in animal skins, fur, wool, and feathers. A first-of-its-kind PETA Asia investigation of South African mohair farms recently revealed workers roughly handing, mutilating, and forcefully shearing terrified goats so that their soft hair could be turned into sweaters, blankets, and other items. After hearing from PETA, major retailers including Topshop, H&M, Gap, and Inditex apparel brands (including Zara) have already agreed to stop placing orders for mohair—a significant victory for suffering goats. Today, you can do twice as much to help keep this vital work going.

Thank you for everything you do for animals.

Sincerely,

PETA
