Accessibility support to NITFest

The second edition of Nepal International Theatre Festival (NITFest) 2022 has commenced and we are supporting the festival as Accessibility Partner in collaboration with Diverse Patterns. The festival is happening till 3 December at Mandala Theatre.

On 28 November, we organised a workshop – facilitated by Sagar Prasai and Michelle Rolfe (Birds of Paradise, Scotland) – on how art can be made more accessible. The workshop saw the participation of more than 40 theatre leaders, art leaders and creative professionals. With this we hope to bring together the arts sector and the disabled community to work together to make Nepali arts a more inclusive space both in terms of audiences and authorship.
