John Adams is the guest of honor at a special event celebrating the John Adams Papers at the Library and previewing Washington National Opera’s (WNO) upcoming production of "Nixon in China." The evening will include an interview with Adams and a panel discussion with WNO Artistic Director Francesca Zambello and members of the production team for “Nixon.” Part of the Library’s commemoration of America 250.

The Library of Congress presents a celebration of the 55th anniversary of “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” which is featured on the National Film Registry. This special event includes a panel discussion moderated by Tommy McFly (NBC4) with original cast members and the screenwriter, a performance of excerpts from composer and lyricist Leslie Bricusse’s score, and a display of original materials from the creation of the film. |

RUSH Passes
Guests without assigned seats are welcome to attend, space permitting, and may register for a numbered RUSH pass upon arrival. Guests with RUSH passes will be seated five minutes before showtime, pending availability of unclaimed seats. Advance registrants who arrive after that time will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager space permitting. RUSH pass distribution starts two hours prior to the concert.
