Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist
The Library of Congress is accepting applications for Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist, GS-13, until March 29, 2023.
The incumbent serves as the Facility Services Manager and works under the general supervision of the Chief, Facility Services Division who provides broad policy guidance and direction. Incumbent works closely with the Facility Services Officer, Safety Officer, program managers, officials with other government agencies and is responsible for directing and coordinating all related engineering, mechanical, electrical, HVAC and/or environmental activities; building services including food services, trash removal, recycling, building inspection, and general attention to staff related business issues. Incumbent ensures that safety and facility services are carries out responsibly and efficiently and in full accord with all governing laws, policies, and regulations.
