Featured  Monkeys used for laboratory experiments are cut open, poisoned, isolated, infected, and more—and many are killed. Take a few minutes to take action online and make a call to urge air cargo company AirBridgeCargo to halt any plans to fly monkeys who are destined for laboratories into Los Angeles International Airport.  After more than 85,000 compassionate people told Gate 1 Travel that they oppose the use of elephants in the tourism industry—for which the animals are often forcibly separated from their mothers as babies, tied down, beaten mercilessly, and gouged with sharp weapons—the company stopped offering activities featuring captive elephants. Urge other travel companies to join Gate 1 Travel and dozens of other travel companies that have turned their backs on this abuse. In these events, capuchin monkeys are dressed in rodeo costumes and strapped to dogs who are trained to race around and start and stop abruptly so that the monkeys are violently jerked up and down and side to side, risking serious physical injury. The "rodeos" are starting today and continue into the summer. Urge stadiums to cancel these cruel and unnecessary spectacles immediately.
