Featured  Disturbing photos show emaciated horses with their ribs sticking out. The company that books these horses to carry tourist gear is complicit in this abuse and is exploiting them for money—urge it to stop these tours immediately.  Urge companies to join the sea of individuals, organizations, and even entire nations that are banning fur in order to help stop animals who spend their lives inside cramped, filthy cages from being gassed, electrocuted, and sometimes skinned alive in the barbaric industry. PETA exposed this rat tormenter at the University of Delaware, and now, the public knows that she puts rats, including newborns, through psychologically distressing and painful experiments. These cruel, pointless experiments have no benefit to humans.  Renaissance festivals may be celebrating a different era, but that's no excuse to embrace the archaic and inhumane treatment of animals by hosting cruel and dangerous elephant rides. Urge the Colorado Renaissance Festival to join the more than 620 retail venues nationwide that have committed to not allowing these rides.  In most cases, young wild animals should be left alone, as their parents are likely foraging for food nearby. However, when in doubt, please use these guidelines in order to determine if an animal needs help and, if so, what steps you should take.
