The Los Angeles Police Commission today reappointed Chief Michel Moore to a second term as head of one of nation's largest police departments.
The panel's 5-0 vote came after just a few weeks of public hearings, an unusually quick pace. Moore has said he plans to serve only two or three more years as chief before stepping down in advance of the 2028 Olympics.
