Pentagon Press Secretary Brig Gen Pat Ryder provided the following readout:
 
Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III spoke with his Polish counterpart Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak to follow up on previous discussions about the current security situation along NATO's Eastern Flank. The two leaders reaffirmed the need to coordinate closely and to ensure continued strong support for Ukraine.
