Help All Animals Backed by our members’ support and dedication, PETA pushed for years for the release of the nine healthy survivors of Texas A&M University’s horrific canine muscular dystrophy laboratory (which has since closed). The school transferred the dogs to another laboratory, and they will hopefully be adopted into loving homes by the end of this holiday season. And we triggered a domino effect that led to the rescue of thousands of beagles from contract-testing company Envigo’s breeding facility in Cumberland, Virginia, and they’re currently enjoying toys, care, and affection. That facility is also empty now. But they’re not the only ones who need help.
