September’s Top 10 Action Alerts for Animals is Here

Dear Aaaaaaa,

Every year, billions of animals suffer and die for clothing and accessories. Skin is torn off them to make leather, feathers are ripped out of birds’ sensitive skin for down, and small animals are caged for life before being killed for their fur. If the process involves an animal, it involves horrific cruelty.

You can help animals today—sign this month’s top 10 action alerts.

J.Crew has announced its adoption of a “good ” cashmere standard, which allows untrained farmers to kill baby goats through blunt force trauma and only requires 10% of “certified” farms to be audited annually. Don’t let J.Crew get away with humane washing its brand.

Animals Beaten, Electrocuted, Gassed, or Skinned Alive for Their Fur

Fashion brand RUDSAK continues to treat animals as if they were nothing more than coat trim. Hundreds of major designers and retailers—including Canada Goose, Columbia Sportswear, The North Face, Patagonia, and REI—have already banned fur. Please help suffering animals by urging RUDSAK to ban it immediately.

Urban Outfitters Must Be Held Accountable for Supporting Animal Abuse!

PETA documented that workers in Urban Outfitters’ supply chain hit, kicked, restrained, and mutilated animals for clothing that its brands peddle—completely contrary to its goal of being ethical. Call on Urban Outfitters to commit to animal-free fashion.
