Sep. 29, 2021 L.A. council puts off vote on proof-of-vaccination requirement for indoor venues The Los Angeles City Council delayed a vote on whether to require people to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to enter restaurants, shopping centers, movie theaters, hair and nail salons and other locations. Although most council members spoke in favor of the measure, Councilman Joe Buscaino called it "unenforceable." The council is expected to take up the ordinance again next week. Read more
