Congress passes stopgap bill to fund government through Dec. 3

The House passed a final vote on a short-term spending bill to avert a government shutdown shortly after the Senate had approved the measure. The move, which comes hours before a midnight deadline, extends government funding through Dec. 3. President Biden is expected to sign it.
