Join us online this Thursday, April 30, for the 2026 Law Day event, The Declaration of Independence and the Rule of Law, at 3:00 p.m. EDT. The Law Library of Congress and the American Bar Association will cohost our annual Law Day celebration, featuring Dr. Andrew Shankman in conversation with Dr. Kevin Butterfield. They will help us celebrate Law Day and the celebration of America 250 by discussing what the philosophical and historical context of the Declaration of Independence can teach us about the rule of law in America.
