Much To Do In May Photo courtesy of the Architect of the Capitol Tours of the Capitol Grounds resume in May. Explore the beautiful Capitol Grounds on a guide-led tour. Learn about the legacy of the father of American landscape architecture Frederick Law Olmsted and how his vision for the Capitol Grounds is preserved. This tour is offered Monday-Saturday at 1 p.m. No passes are necessary and please meet your guide at the entrance of the Capitol Visitor Center. In addition to the Capitol Grounds tour, join the Capitol Visitor Center throughout May for in-person and virtual programs that will inform, involve and inspire visitors.
