Hi—do you have a second for animals? (Re PETA)

A quick message about your year-end gift. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Hello Aaaaaaa,

I lead the fundraising operations team at the PETA Foundation, and today, I’m asking for your help because December is a huge month for us. The funds that we raise this month will help determine how much PETA can accomplish for animals in the year ahead.

While putting together a list of this month’s donors for my team, I noticed that your name is missing. In fact, from our records, it looks like you haven’t made a donation to PETA before! I’d love for TODAY to be the day you make your first contribution to PETA’s vital work. May I add your name?

Just click here to make a gift to power PETA’s work for animals in 2021. Even $2 can make a world of difference to an animal in need!

I’m exposed to so many heartbreaking stories of abused and neglected animals during the course of my work: dogs forced to live outside in the freezing cold, chained up without shelter … pigs crying out for help on massive farms … tormented monkeys condemned to suffer for nearly their entire lives before being cut open and killed in cruel and useless experiments.

But I’m also lucky enough to witness the astonishing impact that kind people like you can make by pitching in with your first gift:

  • Your support means that PETA fieldworkers can provide lonely “outside dogs” with custom-built doghouses, offering them some protection from the freezing rain and snow of winter. With your help, PETA has delivered more than 200 doghouses this year alone.
  • Your compassion funds the work of PETA investigators who expose the abuse endured by pigs and other animals on massive farms—footage that PETA sometimes uses to help bring legal action when cruelty becomes criminal.
  • Your generosity powers effective grassroots campaigns that are stopping hideous experiments like the forced swim test, in which small animals are placed in inescapable beakers filled with water and made to swim to keep from drowning. Seven of the 10 largest pharmaceutical companies in the world—including Bristol Myers Squibb and GlaxoSmithKline just this year—have now committed to banning the cruel test after pressure from PETA.

It’s no exaggeration to say that the donor list I’ll be sending to my team this evening showcases people who are changing lives and making the world a kinder place for all living, feeling beings.

It’s not too late to get your name on it. Make your very first gift to PETA now and do more for animals in 2021.

Thank you for your compassion and support!

Sincerely,

Hollie
