MCC@20: Advancing Policy to Drive Progress On March 6, 2024, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) hosted a congressional dialogue with MCC CEO Alice Albright and members of Congress, Representatives Adam Smith, Joaquin Castro, Young Kim, Ed Royce, and Ted Yoho, to discuss how MCC supports countries that value democracy, human rights, and investing in people. These collaborations help to open new markets, scale programs, drive innovation, and transform lives globally.  Read our 2023 Annual Partnerships Report, highlighting partnerships that reflect MCC's mission to reduce global poverty through sustainable and inclusive economic growth.   Changing Lives in Benin Since 2006, MCC has provided nearly $900 million to Benin to strengthen the country's economy and lift its people out of poverty.    Learn how the partnership helped entrepreneurs like Madame Awahou Codjo and Collette Yehouenou to expand their businesses and secure a brighter future.   Advancing Land Ownership in Morocco   Through a transformative pilot program, MCC and Moroccan partners turned 138,000 acres into a model for land privatization and titling, leading to new legislation supporting women's rights. The initiative resulted in 34% of land ownership going to women, a monumental change from the previous 1%.
