Charles Lynch opened a medical dispensary in Morro Bay to help people like himself; he suffered from cluster headaches and marijuana helped with the pain. The mayor, city attorney and the members of the Chamber of Commerce were at the ribbon cutting.

Then the federal government swooped in. And arrested him. In 2007. In 2024, they were still after him.
