Appeals court upholds California's ban on large-capacity gun magazines

The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld California's ban on large-scale gun magazines. The ruling is likely to lead to the court's approval of the state's ban on assault weapons. The decision reverses a ruling by a judge known for opposing firearms restrictions and who likened an AR-15 semiautomatic to a Swiss Army knife.
